Mark Tweedie, the organiser of the S&N teams has been in touch, and told us :

"We all really enjoyed the race, it worked out very well, conditions certainly could have been better first thing and the first leg runners got pretty wet but for the rest of us we just had the wind to contend with. Running is so much easier when there are lots of people running with you and we all found that. We had set ourselves a target of 3 hours to complete the 26.2 miles but we knew it was going to be pretty impossible and the conditions made it that bit more difficult. We ended up with Team A finishing in 3.19.51 and Team B in 3.29.19, we were in 21st and 44th place respectively." He also told us that they will have raised over £1,300 for us, excluding gift aid ! A great effort from them and we thank them all. Mark also sent us this picture of 6 of the team members relaxing after the race. From Left to Right , Niall, Sharon, Mark, Graeme, Kerry and Duljit. Missing are Paul and Graham.
