Big Give Christmas Challenge raises £7,900 for Family Facilities Refurbishment

Thanks to the help of our wonderful supporters, Simpsons Special Care Babies has raised an amazing £7,900 in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2019.

UPDATE: Our total raised was £7,900, plus Gift Aid of £925, making our grand total of £8,825 towards the Family Facilities campaign. Thank you.

Now in its 12th year, the Christmas Challenge saw supporters’ donations matched, doubling the impact of their gifts.

By taking part in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge 2019, we are delighted to say that we are £7,900 closer to our goal of £300,000 Refurbishment of Neonatal Unit Family Facilities.

Having a baby in the Neonatal Unit can be a stressful and frightening time for any family, and the stay can be a lengthy one. We are committed to enhancing and expanding the currently limited family facilities to help ease the burden on families.

The refurbishment will help support families during a very difficult time in their lives and enhance the working environment of staff, so that they can focus on giving the best possible care to babies in the Unit. Full details of the proposed facilities can be found on our Family Facilities Campaign.

We would like to thank everyone who made a donation during our Big Give Christmas Challenge.
